About Tree Service Laredo
Tree Service Laredo works on residential trees and lots across Laredo and the surrounding part of Webb County. We remove trees, trim and thin them, clean up palms, grind stumps, clear storm damage and clear brush from overgrown lots. The trees we see most are the ones that do well here: honey mesquite, live oak, Texas ebony and tall Mexican fan palms.
South Texas is hard on trees in its own way. Long stretches above 100 degrees, rain that comes in bursts and then disappears for months, and the occasional hard freeze all leave marks you can read in a canopy: dead wood at the top, heavy limbs leaning over a roof, a palm skirt that has grown for years. Our job is to look at what is actually there and tell you what the tree needs, which is sometimes less than you expected.
How we work
- We walk the property with you. Each tree in the scope gets looked at, along with what is under it: roof, fence, driveway, septic lid, overhead lines.
- You get it in writing. The estimate lists each tree and each task, and states whether the wood is hauled away, left as firewood or chipped.
- We plan the cut before the saw starts. Drop zones, rigging points and where the truck and chipper will sit are decided before work begins.
- We leave it clean. Rakes, blowers and a final walk-through with you are part of the job.
What we do not take on
Limbs touching or tangled in the main power lines along the street or alley belong to the electric utility and its line-clearance crews, and we will tell you so. Tree work tied to commercial construction projects, land surveying and anything that calls for a crane on a public street is outside what we do. When a tree problem looks like a disease or insect issue that pruning will not fix, we point you to the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office for Webb County.
